We got an award!

On the 21st of September the Guild of Fine Food announced the results for its annual Great taste awards 2021.

We are so glad to announce we got an award for our ‘Original’ flavour Chinchin.

Our customers have always raved about our Chinchin, but this was a wonderful testimony to help boost our moral. We certainly weren’t expecting it and didn’t think much of it when we made the application and sent in the sample months prior, so it came as a shock and a lovely surprise to have a received an award in the form of a star ⭐️ .

Great Taste is the world’s largest and most trusted food and drink awards. With 14,113 entries this year and over 500 expert judges from all around the world, it’s a quick way to get honest straightforward and impartial feedback from chefs, buyers food writers and retailers. Great Taste stars are highly respected seals of approval in food and drinks market.

One of the feedback we received from the judges at the event:

“Thick, golden square of evenly fried dough. These subtly sweet biscuits have a lovely crunch and there’s no heavy mouthfeel from the frying oil. The softness of dairy butter comes through on the palate and they avoid being heavy or dense. A lovely snack.”
